With over 15 years’ experience as a freelance writer and presenter, I am at home writing a wide variety of styles and tones of voice from snappy social media content to in-depth reporting to corporate reports and submissions to government. I am a regular contributor to Punch Magazine, T Magazine Australia, Time Out Melbourne and A+ Hospitality, and my writing has also appeared in Good Food, Eater, Winning Magazine and Creative Loafing Atlanta. BRAND CONSULTANCY
With over a decade’s experience in brand management and consultancy in the Australian spirits space, including time as brand manager for Sullivans Cove Distillery and 78 Degrees Distillery, I am well-placed to offer advice on brand and marketing strategy, market trends and business infrastructure. I have worked as a senior member of some of Melbourne’s most respected and highly awarded bars including The Black Pearl (Best International High Volume Cocktail Bar 2015, Best Asia Pacific Bar 2015) and Whisky & Alement (International Whisky Bar of the Year 2023), have helped to establish successful hospitality enterprises such as The Kodiak Club and Waterslide Bar, and spent many years as a Diageo Bar Academy Trainer. As such, I am uniquely placed to help with venue design, marketing & PR strategy, cocktail list development, whisky list curation and staff training for both new and established venues.

EVENTS &
JUDGING
I am an experienced MC and presenter in the drinks and hospitality space and am available to host public masterclasses, moderate panel discussions and conduct live-audience interviews. I am also an experienced spirits and cocktail competition judge as a panel chair of the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards (Australia’s largest spirits competition) for the last seven years and Head Spirits Judge at Drink Easy Awards since 2019.
