ABOUT ME
Fred Siggins is a Melbourne-based writer and drinks expert with over twenty years of experience in the drinks and hospitality industry. He is a regular contributor to PUNCH, T Magazine Australia and A+ Insights, and hosts weekly events at Whisky & Alement; Melbourne’s premier whisky bar.
Fred’s experience in drinks and hospitality spans over two decades as a bartender, brand executive, chef, venue manager, consultant, competition judge, writer and presenter. His work includes stints as senior bartender for Melbourne’s iconic cocktail bar The Black Pearl, and as Brand Manager for Sullivans Cove Distillery and 78 Degrees Spirits. He is also a panel chair at the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards, Australia’s largest spirits competition, and the Drink Easy Awards. Throughout his work, Fred’s passion for storytelling turns drinks into experiences and spirits into memories.
